MPFHS is pleased to announce a very special speaker for our October meeting.

Lady Teviot on "English Research"

This will be held on Saturday, 30th October, (not the usual 1st Saturday of October)

Lady Teviot is the President of the Federation of Family History Societies (UK) and has researched family history for many years.

Along with her husband she is a professional genealogist with Census-Searches.

The work is published on CD, and is a complete transcription of the rates books with a fully searchable index, and maps of all the Parishes in the District, which include:

Frankston, Moorooduc, Tyabb, Kangerong and Bittern. Balnarring is included in two years in Book 1, and part of Lyndhurst is included in the later books.

The CD is available for purchase from the Society for $30, or by post for $33.
